This course is designed for people working with vulnerable. It is suitable for carers working in domiciliary care, nursing homes, mental health settings or looking after a vulnerable adult who is a member of the staff.
The course covers the meaning of the term ‘vulnerable adult, different forms of abuse that might take place and how to recognise them. The learners will understand their roles and responsibilities towards vulnerable adults, the legislation concerning safeguarding vulnerable adults.
